For non-technical customers

I’m not technical at all. Can I still use Technomax?

Absolutely. Most of our customers are not technical. You tell us what your website needs to do and we take care of the server, uptime, performance and security.

What is CloudLinux and why do you use it?

What is CloudLinux in plain English?

CloudLinux is the operating system we run on our server. It’s designed specifically for hosting companies. In simple terms, it lets us give each hosting customer their own “lane on the highway” so one busy or misbehaving site can’t slow everyone else down.

How does CloudLinux help my website?

CloudLinux lets us limit how much CPU, memory and other resources each account can use. That sounds strict, but it’s actually a good thing: it keeps your site stable and helps prevent other customers’ websites from affecting yours. It also improves security by isolating accounts from each other.

Do I need to know anything technical to benefit from CloudLinux?

No. You don’t have to log into the operating system or manage anything there. It simply runs behind the scenes so your website stays faster, more stable and better protected.

What exactly does Technomax do for my website?

We host your website on our server, monitor it, keep it backed up, apply updates on the hosting side, and help when something goes wrong. Our goal is simple: your site stays online, loads quickly, and feels “boring” in the best possible way.

Do you also build websites, or only host them?

We do both. If you already have a site, we can move it over and host it. If you need a new site, we can design and build one for you and then continue to host and maintain it.

What is managed WordPress hosting?

Managed WordPress hosting means we don’t just give you space on a server and wish you luck. We install WordPress for you, keep it updated, monitor performance, and help troubleshoot problems so you can focus on running your business.

Can you move my existing WordPress site to Technomax?

Yes. When this service launches, we’ll be able to migrate most WordPress sites for you, test them on our platform and then switch the domain over with minimal downtime.

What’s the difference between normal hosting and managed WordPress?

Standard hosting gives you space and tools to run a website. Managed WordPress adds hands-on help with the WordPress side—installation, core updates, basic security hardening, and performance tuning specifically for WordPress sites.

Hosting & uptime

What is “high availability” hosting in plain English?

High availability simply means “designed to stay online”. The server and software are set up so that if there’s a hiccup, your site is back quickly and downtime is kept to a minimum.

What happens if my site suddenly gets a lot of traffic?

If your traffic grows, your site will use more CPU and RAM. We monitor resource usage and will let you know if it’s time to adjust your plan so your site stays fast and responsive.

Will my website be fast?

Speed is a big focus at Technomax. We tune the server, use modern software, and optimize sites so pages load quickly and meet current best-practice performance guidelines.

Moving an existing website to Technomax

Can you move my existing website to your hosting?

Yes. We can migrate most existing websites for you. We copy your files and database, test the site on our server, and then switch the domain over with minimal disruption.

Will there be downtime while you move my site?

There may be a short transition period while DNS changes take effect, but we plan migrations carefully to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.

Backups, support & billing

Do you back up my website?

Yes. We take regular server-side backups so we can restore your site if something goes wrong. If you need a specific restore policy, we’re happy to discuss options.

How do I get help if there’s a problem?

You contact us and we take a look. For hosting-related issues (server, uptime, performance) we investigate and fix them as part of your service. If the issue is content or design related, we’ll explain what’s involved before we do any work.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No surprise lock-ins. Your exact term and billing cycle are clearly outlined in your quote or service agreement before you say yes. If you have questions about commitment or cancellation, just ask—we’ll give you a straight answer.

Can you also look after updates and security for me?

On the hosting side, yes—we keep the server environment patched and secure. For site-specific updates (like CMS, plugins or content), we can include maintenance arrangements as part of your plan or as a separate service.

What kind of server environment do you use?

We run a modern Linux environment with cPanel and tools designed for performance, isolation and stability. If you need detailed specs for your developer, we’re happy to provide them.

Can my developer get access if needed?

Yes. We can provide access appropriate to your plan (such as SFTP, control panel, or application-level accounts) so your developer can work on the site while we continue to manage the hosting.
